When one doesn't update, traffic seems to flow.... when one DOES update (like now) traffic appears to cease.


Seriously, keeping this 'little' blog going in cyberspace has been difficult over the last few weeks, due to a death in my family.


My father passed away two weeks ago (my mother died 32 years ago), times have been tough as responsibility for sorting out his affairs has fallen on me.

Sheridan Sacked

After their 6-2 drubbing at MK Dons on Saturday, THE REAL LATICS parted company with manager John Sheridan.

Sheridan had been under pressure recently for the team's lack of results, which puts their chances of reaching the play-offs at just better than slim.

Sheridan's departure might have something to do with an altercation between senior players and the manager himself at a 'fans' night out early last week.

REAL LATICS legend Joe Royle takes charge Guus Hiddink style on a temporary contract.

The FA Cup 4th Round Finally Complete

The FA Cup 4th Round came to its conclusion this evening as Arsenal beat Cardiff City at The Emirates, 4-0.

Arsenal's scorers were Eduardo (2), Bendtner and Van Persie.

Arsenal now play Burnley at home in the 5th Round.

Pretty in Pink

When The Real Latics step out to play Leeds United next month at Boundary Park, they will be doing so in a bright Pink kit.

Pink shirts, Pink shorts and Pink socks.

After the game, the shirts will be auctioned off to help raise funds for the Victoria Breast Unit at the Royal Oldham Hospital.


Tomorrow, The Real Latics entertain Northampton Town.
