Denmark v Spain (7.15pm)
Germany v Belgium (8.oopm)

A lot of these games are to prepare for the 2010 World Cup which will be held in South Africa and if you think tonight is bad without Premiership action, wait for ten days or so when the Premiership shuts down for two weeks.

I Can't Bear to Look

There were a few high-flying Championship sides that were knocked out of the Carling Cup by lower League opposition last night.

Charlton were dumped out by Yeovil 1-0, Barnsley were beaten by Crewe 2-0, Luton beat Plymouth 2-0, Blackpool lost at Macclesfield 2-0, Norwich lost at MK Dons 1-0 and Notts Co beat Doncaster Rovers 1-0.

Tonight there are more Carling Cup ties and also Liverpool and Arsenal start their campaign to qualify for the group stages of the Champions League.
