OUCH - Chelsea's Joe Cole is out for the rest of the season after injuring his anterior cruciate ligament against Southend in the FA Cup Wednesday night.

OUCH - Real Madrid are charging top dollar for the pending meeting against Liverpool in the Champions League next month - £785 for ONE seat.

More OUCH - Beware. Julian Dicks, West Ham legend is back in football. He has taken up the manager's job at Wivenhoe Town who play in the Ridgeons Premier Division. Cross him at your peril.

Strange Day Indeed!

What a strange day in the Premiership for the top four.

Chelsea drew 0-0 with Newcastle

Liverpool drew 0-0 with Fulham

Man Utd drew 0-0 with Aston Villa

and the Gooners/Woolwich, lost at Man City 3-0

Now Aston Villa are in the top four and Woolwich are fifth LOL LOL

The Real Latics won at Southend 2-1, their 2nd away League win within a week. Last weekend they won 1-0 at Northampton. The Real Latics are still in the League One promotion shake-up.

Your Complete Guide to the Football League Play-offs: Doncaster Rovers v Southend United

I cannot believe its only a week ago that the first of the play-offs started and now we have come full circle with tonights match at the Keepmoat Stadium, the 2nd leg of the first game featured.
If you wanna a laugh, to continue my complete guide to the Football League Play-offs, I will miss my fav programme on TV tonight... Dancing with the Stars...... yeah yeah I know its Dancing but I have a history of Dance and I AM rather proud of it, although you wouldn't believe it.
To know more, you will have to get to know me better.
Anyway, the first leg at Roots Hall last Friday ended 0-0 and I have a feeling the 2nd leg tonight will be exciting as the rest of the games that I have witnessed and reported on this week.
The winners of tonight's League One semi-final 2nd Leg will play Leeds United next Sunday 25th May at Wembley.
Odds for a Yorkshire derby in London..... anybody?
The game kicks-off at 7.45pm (UK time) and as usual all updates will appear in the comments section at 5 minute intervals (unless anything happens in between).

The first Football League play-off match of the season kicked off last night at Southend Utd's Roots Hall ground.
The result was a 0-0 draw in front of a crowd of over 9,000.
The highlight of the night was the sending off of Doncaster's Paul Heffernan for a headbutt on Southend's Charlie Mulgrew.
The tie is all set for a dramatic conclusion next Friday (16th May) at the Keepmoat Stadium.
