AFC Wimbledon on the Rise
After Wimbledon upped sticks and re-located to Milton Keynes and eventually became MK Dons, AFC Wimbledon was formed in 2002 by the fans for the fans, that is the REAL Wimbledon fans.
Their rise up the football pyramid since their formation in 2002, saw AFC Wimbledon go top of the Blue Square South on Saturday when they beat former leaders Chelmsford City 3-1 in front of a crowd of 4,690.
It is conceivable that in EIGHTEEN months time, AFC Wimbledon could be back in the Football League.
